There is mod_aspdotnet that will proxy to the ASP.NET engine via Apache, for Windows.

If you are looking for stability; Apache, PHP, MySQL, etc, under Windows are on very solid ground.

Download the ‘Web-Developer Server Suite’ to see how far things have come.

Hi there.

Just to clarify, I did not create the OpenDesigns.org site all by myself. LobsterMan and I are doing the majority of coding and Christopher is helping out as well.

The three of us are the site admins and moderators will be selected soon as we are done coding the back end.

It’s getting easier, but I still think a majority of setup requires some skill. Most software on windows installs in a couple of clicks. Which, in my opinion, is a good installation of PHP. Using php in windows is just copying the files and editing two files, php.ini and httpd.conf if you’re using apache.

The cPanel install is only about 3 commands long and cPanel configures everything for you then gives you a web-based GUI to set the rest up. Its not the hardest install you could do..
